I close my eyes and sprint the last two blocks home, pushing myself to go as fast as I can. It is exhilarating. Unfortunately, it is only a memory. Thanks to an aging body and failing joints, I will never sprint again.
My fitness goal is to be fit enough for MY life. At 70, maintaining fitness is not easy. I began this blog to track my improvement; it has morphed into a inventory of contests with few victories. The only thing that keeps me going is the drive to Live!
